Catching Up on 2008 Pics...(Part 1)

Finally I got another blog post up! Here are some pictures from 2008 (so far) to catch up.

This is me, Gaston, and LeFou in the musical Beauty and the Beast that I got to be in in April as the fishman in town, and also an enchanted rug (in the castle :)) It was a ton of fun!

This is just me singing in a choir concert....

Also in April, Billy and I got to hike up Castle Rock with the Browers!

Charity got baptized in May by Papa Travis!

Jilleen had the opportunity to go down to Atlanta for some conference thingy-ma-jig... And she was on CNN and everything...what a surprise! haha Now Jilleen is in New York pursuing her dreams and being famous in every single way :)

The above picture is at Pirate's Cove, a really fun water park for little kids. It was grrrrrreat!

We had the opportunity to spend the 4th of July at the GMoores and Watsons in Bountiful. This is Collin holding a sparkler during the show that Travis and Golden put on for us. It was awesome! We also played a game (I forgot what is is called), but you throw a rope with a ball on each end, and try to get it onto a pole shelf. If was fun!

The next week after the 4th of July celebration, mostly everyone went back to Colorado except for Mom and I- We stayed at Barbara and Trevor's house and I went down to Murray/West Valley City every day for EFY...and it was THE BEST ever! I met some really good friends there and had a lot of good experiences that built my testimony a lot better!

Some friends and I went to a rally in Colorado Springs. You may not be able to see it very well, but in the distance is John McCain and his wife Cindy (the one with the green and orange on {hard to miss :)}). It was fun to see John McCain and Sarah Palin, even from a distance!

(Too bad they lost.)

Hawaii!!!!

In December, some of the family had the AMAZING opportunity to go to Hawaii to see Joseph's senior recital and also his graduation, but it was also nice to get away...especially to HAWAII!!! For Dad, Mom, Jilleen, and I, we left on the 7th of December and got back the 17th (just in time for finals! Haha). But we all had an amazing experience over there. At first, it was just Mom, Dad, Jilleen, Liz, and Joseph and I, but then a few days later, Barbara, Abby, Grandma, and Grandpa surprised Joseph (kind of. I kind of accidentally said something...). Then shortly after, Kathryn and Trevor showed up! It turned out to be the best trip EVER! Joseph did an amazing job with his recital (of course) and it was a ton of fun! Here are some random pics that sum up the trip

This was at Joseph and Elizabeth's choir concert, that was amazing! They are the best choir EVER! I don't remember these people's names, but they are famous, and Joseph loves them a lot!
When we went to Hukilau beach with grandma and grandpa! This is one of MY favorite beaches and we got some good boogey-boarding waves there. I LOVE HUKILAU! We even named one of our cars after that amazing place!
This is the kitchen of the place that we stayed... I had to add this picture cause its a really cool pic! This was at the Polynesian Cultural Center, and it was definately one of the funnest things about going! More at the PCC...we all got tattoos, they were awesome!This was at Joseph's graduation. It was AWESOME!

This picture was taken at the outside church that we went to (on the 2nd sunday). It was a cool chapel and a cool church building!...And of course Barb and Abby had matching Mumus bought at the swap meet!!!!

This is at Pearl Harbor. This place was so cool, because you coul tell Grandpa was extra silent in honor. It was also cool at the punchbowl when Grandpa showed us where he was in the war on the big maps on the walls. I am glad that Gma and Gpa came!I think this was at Hukilau... This was EVERYONE! Hawaii was one of the best experiences of my life, and I loved every factor to it and every little thing that happened, because is was just SOOOO amazing! I am so grateful for Mom and Dad for giving us that awesome opportunity! I LOVE HAWAII!!!

Our Visit to Utah for Thanksgiving...

Utah/Thanksgiving

Here are just a few pictures from our trip to Utah. Thank you Golden, Holli, Barbara, and Trevor for maximizing the whole experience. Especially Holli for her AMAZING turkey!!! We all had an awesome time and thank you for all that you did!!!

We also got to meet two of Kathryn's friends from BYU-Idaho. They are silly.

Updates!

John made Continental League Choir!!!!! (The only sophomore to do so!) Woo hoo!

TJ just turned 9 years old, Kristin is about to turn 31 years old, and Ashlyn is about to turn 7!!! We just had a joint party for the three of them!

P.S. Kristin has a creepy smile that she does (HAHA KRISTIN)

Family Updates:

Ashley

Is having fun at Rock Canyon. Ashley was just manager for the volleyball team, and their season just ended, and she had fun doing that! She LOVES to talk on the phone with her friends DAY AND NIGHT!

John

Is having fun as Sophomore Class President! He was a duck hunter for Halloween...! He is sixteen and will have his license in less than 3 weeks!!!!!!!! WAAAAAHOOOOOO! He likes to text or be on facebook while he can, for HOMEWORK takes over his life. He can't wait to drive!

Also, he is listening to Christmas music NONSTOP, and all of you should too. It's never too early!
